Downloading and Installing (Windows)

For anyone that is bored of the default texture pack, heres how you change it,

*For Non-HD Texture packs- (16x16)*

First- Download the texture pack you want to use by googling it, or going to the Minecraft forums Texture Pack Central Page : http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=12352

Second- Open Minecraft and Click the "Mods and Texure Packs" Button, then the "Open Texture Pack Folder" button

Third- Find the .zip file for your texture pack, copy and paste it into the Texture Pack folder that you opened and then close the folder.

Finally - Select the texture pack you chose in the list on Minecraft, click Done, and then start playing with your new texture.

*For HD Textures- (32x32 - 256x256)* (MAKE SURE MINECRAFT CLIENT IS CLOSED)

First- Download the texture pack you want to use by googling it, or going to the Minecraft forums Texture Pack Central Page : http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=12352

Second- Download the most recent version of "Xau's HD Texture fix" - http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=46173 , and then run it.

Third - Browse for you texture pack of choice, set tile size if it didn't automatically, and set your prefered options, then click "Patch"

Last - Start up Minecraft and enjoy your texture pack.
